Well, it WAS a great free day...

My brother John tells me that yesterday's blog post claiming "creating a day off" was Creating Something Daily was pretty darn marginal... but it felt great. Slept late, read some of the novel I keep getting sidetracked in, made some cards, went to the Home Show with John who kept me from spending any money -- good man -- and then had some great Vietnamese food at Quang on Nicollet.  So here are a couple of the cards, bound for Operation Write Home, as a more "traditional" creative expression.  Torn paper seems to be the theme of the day.
